Taking a break from helping my neighbor clean up from this mornings earthquake. See the OU offensive line is even worse than I thought it would be this year. Mayfield may not make it to the end of the season if they don't improve. Don't know why they were ranked so high, after losing so many seniors.

Well I can put a little based on how we played today - same would apply to a decent App St team vs #9 Tenn whom didn't look nothing like the #9 team in the country.
36-13 with our QB getting 20/32 221 yards and 4TD's - total 458 yards. 3 INT's by the VT Defense. The scores that Liberty got came off a ball that hit a VT player in the head from a punt as the one to catch it was blinded by that 1pm sun which he stated at the end of the game he just lost it in the sun so mistake there along with a fumble that went the other way for a score. VT ONLY had 1 penalty......that is HUGE to show they are in control on both sides of the ball and I'm sure will correct those two mistakes before next weekend.

Yeah after watching these games I'm feeling REALLY good about this coming weekends game.
Win or lose I'm going to enjoy the moment at being at the largest football game ever and watching it in style 50yard line!

I was kinda pulling for UCLA today - shame there. If Clemson and FSU win this weekend they will be #1 and #2 as I'm pulling for USC to win tonight

UGA has to be glad the check to the officials cleared. While happy to see the Dawgs win, it's never good to have the officials just give you the game.

I gotta make my sign for gameday next weekend... I'll park about a mile from the stadium and walk up there between 11-noon. for the show and see if I can get on TV.
Looking forward to a great record breaking game!

As for last night... Clemson looked so so but Auburn appears better than they were lead on to be. I want ND undefeated when VT goes up there to play them..trying to secure tickets for that game too.

Week 2 looks like to only have a few good games on slate... disappointed not seeing a Thursday night game for some reason.

Buckeyes looked better than I expected, with 16 new players, position wise.
Bowling Green while not looking very good will contend for the MAC this year and will be very formidable and possibly in a bowl game.
BG, Toledo and Northern Illinois are always top teams.

WOW, This ND/TX game is crazy. Blocked extra point ran back to tie it up late.

After watching Texas tonight and TCU last night, along with the way OU looked in the 2nd half yesterday. There is a good chance OU is 1-4 after playing ULM, Ohio State, TCU and Texas the next 4 weeks.

A few thoughts on the ND vs Texas game.

Amazing ....
How is it teams can KNOW EXACTLY whos gonna carry the ball and still not have a play set up to stop him ?

EVERYTIME Texas QB Swoops came into the game, you knew he was gonna run ...but they couldn't stop him.

That kid when in there reminded me a lot of Vince Young back in the day.

Texas is alot better than I thought they would be ... at least thru game 1.

And Notre Dame has NO DEFENSE, so far.

I gotta believe ND has no longer competition for the starting QB job, after today the job clearly belongs to Toledo Central Catholic QB Deshawn Kizer.
