450i without remote

Hi,

I'd like to set up my newly installed (used) c-dish with a 450i receiver but have no remote. Is this even possible or do I absolutely need a remote?

Does that mean that the setup cannot be done without a remote?

I thing the GI 450 only has the power button , if you see more buttons then you can move the dish east and west if not you will need a remote.

Okay, looks like I need a remote.

The problem is that, as soon as I know that the setup works fine, I'll have to get rid of the old 450i and get a digital box. Therefore, I don't want to spend a whole lot on a remote that I may only use a day or two before I practically throw it away.
