I have a 4K DVD Player that will not play a 4 K Disc. I have Premium HDMI cables, but still not able to play the movie. So, what am I doing wrong?

Is your "DVD player" compatible with Blu-ray discs or is it merely a 4K upconverting DVD player?
If you don't know, a brand and model number will tell us everything we need to know to assess the situation.
As a quick check, if it doesn't have this logo on the front of it, it can't play the UHD discs:
