Is this a common accident? Perhaps a less goofy remote would help.
It does it because 2 of the 5 TVs I have connected to the Hopper 3 are 4k TVs and the Hopper sees the EDID and outputs 4k. What’s even worse is if you set the Hopper to 720 p it still changes to 4k.

This is a decidedly unique situation. It sounds like the three HDTVs aren't being allowed to report their respective EDIDs.
