When you have the problem are you able to fix it?A lot of times I have the same problem, but today I have both audio and video.
I usually try switching back and forth a few times. Maybe 2 or 3 times the video appeared when I did that, but who knows if that's what did it... Most of the time it doesn't work. When you have the problem are you able to fix it?
I can't even select the channel to schedule the recording without receiving the dreaded warning dialog box.Record the channel on your Hopper, then you can view it on a non-HDR TV. I have A 2015 Samsung 65 inch non-HDR 4K TV and recording works.
In fact you can start watching immediately after starting the recording. just make sure you are watching the recording, not the satellite feed.
I can even watch a 4K HDR recording on my old 42 inch 720p plasma, the Hopper converts the signal to 720p for the Panny.
The Hopper sees the 65 inch 4K TV as 4K and the picture is a little muted (lack of HDR), but it works.
What's the warning?I can't even select the channel to schedule the recording without receiving the dreaded warning dialog box.![]()
I finally just rebooted the Hopper and it came back. That should have been my first thought.I usually try switching back and forth a few times. Maybe 2 or 3 times the video appeared when I did that, but who knows if that's what did it... Most of the time it doesn't work.
LOL, that's never worked for me. Also, when I can't view it, I can't record it either. Congrats!I finally just rebooted the Hopper and it came back. That should have been my first thought.
