Being new to a company i thought i would give em the benefit of the doubt... after that sh*t show lesson learned.. whenever a csr's lips are flapping they don't know what in the hell there talking about... i think it might be better to just find a retailer in my area i think there is one... and just contract out and buy boxes off them if i ever need to vs going through dish themselves. customer service sucks everywhere...
When i called in i told the lady a joey 4 and told her the joey with the one button on the top. she told me that she knew what joey i was talking about!!! not fighting with hipkat i agree with what he said there should have been a work order written up with the box model and numbers off of the box!!! i wonder WTF happened there
.. the dude that was supposed to install the joey 4 did end up giving us the 4k joey even after the gf told him the joey 4 and telling him the joey with the one button on top. from what i heard the installer didn't even listen to her when he went out to get the joey after trying to sell her a wireless joey he looked like he was in his own world!!! i agree with hipkat there should have been a work order with box model and numbers off the box i wonder if one was ever written up!!! i'll buy elsewhere and just call in to swap boxes if i ever need to!!! it's worth the few bucks more to avoid the clown shows!!! and me not having to call in and pissing in there cheerios
