522 DVR, USB port?

I purchased the option to enable archiving to a hd over USB but I do not see the option on my 522 menu. I thought the feature was supported on all DVRs?

No, just on the VIP series receivers. (622 & 722)

well I have the 622 also, I was just hoping it could be used on the 522, the CSR said it was one fee for all DVRs...made it sound like it would work on the 522...I guess they meant all the 622s or 722s you have heh

You are correct in that it is one fee for all the 622s and 722s you have. Some have multiples. Me, only 1. Also, don't try to connect the hard drive to multiple 622s and 722s if you do get another. They do not share EHDs.....yet.
