Having just bought a new property I now have the space for a BUD. I am interested in receiving 58 W Intelsat 9 for the Italian programming. Can anyone verify the reception of the channels "Yes Italia", "Rai News", "Salute" etc...on 4121V? According to Lyngsat and "The List" they should be FTA.

Thanks.

Ray

Yes Italia and RAI News are still transmitting. The Salute transponder is still live but no video or audio for the last couple of weeks.

Nice! Thanks for the response! Now I need to hit up the guy a few houses down for the BUD in his yard! hehe

Thanks again.

I'm planning to get 58W once I get my HD box which I already ordered. Heard that some Fox, FX, National Geography etc are open. Have anyone with HD box already submitted inputs from this sat or is there any updated list??? Thanks!!!!

I have an 8 footer locked at 58 West. If you give me some frequency info I will be happy to check for you.

Here are the TPs that I'm looking forward to see what is coming up MPEG4 HD:

3720 H 21000 2/3
3733 V 10800 3/4
4040 H 26590 1/2

3720 H 21000 2/3 <-- NO signal
3733 V 10800 3/4 <-- NO signal
4040 H 26590 1/2 <-- Q = 75% (NHK)

Thanks!!!I guess there is nothing much less in HD in there. By the way what it is that you're watching there since you have your 8 footer parked there??

Deutsche Welle (Germany)

CCTV 9 (China)

Arirang World (Korea)

NHK World HD (Japan)

All are in English

> Ikki, what signal quality are you getting on NHK?

75 % Q - typically

Because these use 1/2 error correction I was able to watch it down to 10 % Q with no break ups on a Pansat 9200HD.

Morning everyone!
I have a friend from Canada with a 10' footer telling me that he can watch the following TPs

National Geographic Brasil- 3733 V SR 10800 FEC 3/4 DVB-S2 8PSK
Feed 2- 3720 H SR 21000 FEC 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK
NHK World Tv- 4040 H SR 26590 FEC 1/2 DVB-S QPSK
24 Horas- 4107 H SR 8850 FEC 5/6 DVB-S QPSKK

Can someone double check and confirm?? Thanks

Carlospr43 I would love to know what his signal quality readers are with that 10 foot dish from Canada.
