I odered a geosat ck1 and he sent me a dmx 741., I already tried the dmx 741 last year and did not like it to much and i sold it on e-bay for half what i payed for it. Besides that with the geosat ck1 you need a switch to go from c to ku. So I ordered one. But the dmx 741 has a built in switch so you do not need a external switch. but he sent me external switch with the dmx 741.

just my opinion:

I would PM, phone, or email Sadoun.
He's good about taking care of us.
Until you have an unsatisfactory discussion with him, I don't see it's anything we would be concerned with.

Yes I did call him he told me that they stopped making geosat lnb's. The dmx does not work for me cause I am using a 1.2m dish. I had better luck with the eagle aspen I bought from Sadoun. I wanted to try a lnbf that I never tried before. But I already tried the dmx 741 I sold it on e bay for $25. I will probably send it back. He should have contacted me and told me that the geosat ck1 was unavailable.

I am not getting enough signal with my 1.2m dish for the dmx 741 to work right with the c ku switching. I tried the dmx 741 last year and only got a weak c band signal in to see a few channles on amc 4. But when i got the eagle aspen lnb i got a good deal more in. I get very high linear signal with a eagle aspen lnb that came with my DTV world dish. IMO eagle aspen is the better lnb. But the eagle aspen c band lnb i got input frequency range is 3.7-4.2 i think. I wanted geosat cku cause the input frequeny range is wider at 3.2-4.2 i think it was. I know dmx 741 is that also but like i said i tried it before. one needs a big dish for that lnb to work as intened. I am testing and i already tested dmx 741.

some light reading:

One LNBF that seems to have had good results, is the C2 from SatelliteAV.
Looks like Sadoun has the C2 on sale right now.

I bought a DVBWorld USB Tuner Box from him that was supposed to be able to blind scan, yesterday, DVBWorld made the software available for blind scan, so guess what, after trying to install the software I found out that the model I was shipped is NOT the model that supports blind scan. Unfortunately I just noticed this after two months of having the tuner so I don't even know if he would replace it, not to mention the fact that it's such a drag to send something back to the US from Mexico
