722 and the back skip button

Last night while watching Lost that I recorded I noticed some weird. When I skipped the commercials and went a little to far into the show I tried to skip backwards. It did not act like normal. It acted like it didnt want to skip. So i started pushing the button real fast and the next thing I know I am back to commercials. After a little bit of this I figured out that it might just be skipping back to when the commercial stop and the show started. Because everytime i hit the back button it would start at the same place. So that is why it looked like it didnt skip back as far as it did before. Did they update the software over the last few days? Or is my receiver acting weird. This thing is not even a month old yet.

My guess is it was an individual thing with you. I have a 722 and recorded Lost OTA with no issues. Did you record it OTA or over satellite?

Yeah, it was OTA

Unplug the receiver for a minute or two then restart it.

Sometimes the OS gets scrambled and needs to be reset.

Yep, had to do that just yesterday. Fine now.
