So I just recently purchased an OTA module and installed yesterday. Had no problems with setup. I turn on the receiver today and notice that the OTA channels on the guide are not there. I checked the menu>system setup>local channels and get a message that says "an over-the-air module is required to access this feature." I've tried unplugging the power and resetting, removed the OTA module and reinstalling it but have had no luck. I've searched through the forums but have had no luck trying to find a resolution. Please help. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, that doesn't sound right. I set mine up once and never had a single issue. If I were you, I would unplug the receiver and re-seat the OTA card. If it doesn't recognize it when it boots up, call Dish for a replacement. Yours is defective.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm going to have to chalk this as a defective module and get a replacement. The one day that it did work I was really impressed. Wish me luck on the second one.
