Hi all,

I upgraded from 6000 to an 811 yesterday and after the switch out and downloading of software, etc. I could not get the 811 to output a proper HD signal to my Sony HS-10 PJ. SD output was fine, even on an HD channel, but when I switched the PJ to the HD input it acted like it was getting a signal but never actually gave me a picture. After a couple of minutes the PJ displayed " frequency out of range" at the bottom of the screen. Sound is fine.

I am using the component output of the 811 and tried all output resolutions.
Cabels are good.

Any body ever heard of this? Am I missing something?

Thanks, John

Is your projector not capable of 720p?

The 811 might've come set on 720p, and if it's not capable it would mess up.

What you should do is also plug an analog connection to the 811 so you can see the menus and change the picture outputs until it works..

BFG, my pj is capable of 720p and worked just fine with the 6000 at this setting.

as written in the original post i tried all output settings and the SD connection works fine

anyone else?

Yeah sorry I missed that part when I first read it.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe your PJ is RGB and not YpYrYb, but I'm sure that's wrong also...
