9200 question

Is there name-based recording on a 942/9200?

I picked a show and a 'create timer' came up, but it will only record the show I specified at the time I specified. It will verify it is the correct show before record.

But, where is the tivo functionality?

Stargate:Atlantic on M-HD is not on at a std time. How do I set it to record all of these?

Can you do it with a 942? Seems a pretty blatant problem for a DVR!

Yes, a DISH 942 does NBR. The 9200 software was written without NBR because that is the way EVu wants it. (The EVu guide is only 44 hour and the NBR requires 9 day guide to work.) Also from what I've seen the amount of data in the EVu guide is pretty much useless.

Before you ask...NO you cannot use a 942 on ExpressVu.
