hey hey, I have a 13" Funai TV at my office, been working good for 15+ years too

The Magnavox I have will play AVC HD discs (which wasn't advertised) and has a SD card slot... not sure on the Insignia...

Exactly the same. I've had one of the 1st gen Insignias since last November without problems.

I don't think the 2nd gen insignia's are funai though.
