add more than one lnb

Can I added Diseqc fta switch with a motor and 4 lnbs? With only one receiver connected with the switch,motor and 4 lnbs. Has anyone tried this before?

Yes you can but the switch needs to be located after the motor, a straight cable should go from the receiver to the motor, then the cable that comes out of the motor goes to your diseqc switch,

Reciever > motor > switch > lnbs

Of course, the extra LNBFs are on other dishes than the motorized one.

Thanks for the help. I think my switch is bad. The brand is ROC it work the first time, but the second time when I added another lnb. Then problems started.

make sure to power off the receiver with switch on back when doing anything with the switch (added/removing a LNB)
