Advanced dish pointing - Spectrum Analyzers?

I've been using a coax attached signal meter to aim my dishes. I will aim the dish up/down and left/right to get the strongest signal.

But sometimes this is not good enough. With some sats the picture will break-up a bit, then I move the dish over a click or two and then get a perfect picture.

Which makes me think that a spectrum analyzer might be a better tool for aligning a dish?

I've never used one and know nothing about them. I see that some say DVB and others don't.

Also there is gizmo called a "DigiAir Signal Meter" which is less expensive than the spectrum analyzers.

Anyway for pointing an FTA dish and getting it aligned with the arc, what is the next step up from a coax signal meter. What are the advantages of a spectrum analyzer or DigiAir Signal Meter?

You might give it a read and see if it helps explain things.
I have so many things on my list to do, I haven't followed up on it.
