I'm running a hdmi cable (50ft under basement 24awg) to another tv off my 612. I sometimes get picture on it and sometimes don't. I really don't have anything that is hdmi to plug into the tv and see if that is the problem. The dish box has been acting up on me. Like when I change a channel it sometimes will take a minute to change and the info bar will stay on for another minute after that. Also sometimes when I change a channel with component cable hooked up it will take about 20 seconds for sound to come on. I'm thinking I have a bad dish box. It also sometimes freezes and resets it's self.

I have a 25' HDMI and it works fine, but i think 50' is pushing it. You may need an amplifying cable or such to get a better signal to the other end.
'couse if the box is bad, that's probably the first thing to resolve.
