2 degrees apart will only work on big BUDs, a 6 footer will not do it (4 degrees). Which one are you planning to use as main??

I have a 10 footer prime focus.
I would actually prefer AMC1. Do you think I could catch both on one dish with another lnb off-center ?

My main question is: which transponder should I use to search for the satellite ?
thanks.

The ION mux works well, at least here it does. I can't ever remember scanning that bird that I didn't get those. 3840 and or 4040 H 26681 should work.

OK, You will need to use AMC 1 103W as main. You will need a Spare LNB ring. In order to get the 2 degrees apart you will need to modify or cut out using a jigsaw so the 2 LNBs end almost side by side (see the photo below)

AMC 1 103W
3840 H 26681 IONs Mux #1
4161 H 26680 IONs Mux #2

AMC 18 105W
3760 V 28068 NASA Mux
3920 V 30000 Bounce TV MUX
3940 H 30000 Telemundo MUX
3780 H 30000 NBC Mux (this is the hardest to get)

If you want to get both satellites on one dish, we have simple math to calculate the spacing between LNBFs.
It's based on focal length and azimuth.
I didn't post it initially, but did test and promote it quite a bit.
Should find it if you search; I linked to it many times.

What am I doing wrong?
