Hello everyone,

I have a newbie question, I couldn't find AMC5 at 79W and then noticed that SatBeams has it listed at 81W.
Does anyone know if it is still active, where it's gone, or where its programming has moved to?
I thought I was going crazy at first till I found out it wasn't where Sat Finder said it was. I said to myself,
"I know I'm pointing in the right direction."

Thanks,
Wes :)

AMC 5 is at 81 W. But nothing on it at this time.

Thanks for the reply, rodder. Yeah, I was starting to go a little mad on this one.
Finding my first sat was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be but when I
finally got my first successful scan I was really excited. :D They have been much easier since
that one (SES1 and by accident) especially since I put a protractor on the mast to
give me an indication of azimuth.

Wes

Wes there was a card or something on that sat a couple of weeks ago, I scanned it in but have since switched receivers and haven't looked again for amc5. I just noticed you're not far away, PM me if you need help with this stuff, I'm no expert but I've played around with satellite tv since the late 80's.
