It was almost better that it failed like it did. I do not see how a show could be done with what he did. 36 hours for a 90 second show is what failed... Who is going to pay $$ to see 90 seconds of something?

What was interesting is that his glasses steamed over while talking about the failure. You can see the water condensation on them... Maybe he was just sweating it.

Wow! This years YouDownTheTube acts have been terrible so far. I've had bowel movements that have shown more potential than what we've seen tonight.

This has been absolutely painful... I'm DVR'd (watched Memphis Beat live so I could skip commercials tonight)... There hasn't been a single act worth my time. I'm up to the girl flipping around on stage. It's just painful. I sure as hell hope they saved the best for last....

Update: I'm caught up (just saw the "goth dance act"... there hasn't been ONE act worth watching tonight.

The "Goth Dance Act" was pretty good. I also enjoyed the black light bike act...but all the "Fighting Gravity" rip-offs are perhaps getting a bit old.

The goth dance act was a descent act but they didn't go far enough goth nor were they very good dancers. I enjoyed the black light act as well but he missed up a few times on the bike (luckily it was in the dark so you couldn't see it)... that said they were the two best acts. The choir made me think I was watching another promo for their other show about singing acapella or a terrible casino knock off of glee.

Powerhouse...how glee...although I would rename them Outhouse. I'm surprised Howie buzzed them...and even more surprised that Piers did not.

Oh, I thought that dance act was just okay. I liked the girl, Beth Ann Robinson (I can't describe her dance interpretation), although I don't think she will go very far.

I am only voting for the Bike Act - Matt Wilhelm. This year's BoobTube acts were terrible!

Now that we're back on air, here's my take. Horrible compared to last year. I can't believe he compared the quality of the bike act to Jackie Evancho.

Defintely Out:

TNC Elite: Uggh. I agree that they were fighting the music. It wasn't always matched up
Brett Daniels: Slow
Gabe Rocks: I did love when he lifted his leg on Piers, though
Aeon: Nothing special, especially on a closed stage with small props
Breena Bell: Too young and not that good of a dancer
Kalani Basketball Freestyle: Dropped the ball

On the Bubble for Judge's Choice:

Beth Ann Robinson: She will be a terrific dancer in a couple more years. Not too bad.
Gymkana: Agree too one dimensional
Powerhouse: Depends how many Glee fans vote. I thought they were horrible and the girl's solo was way off.

Best Shot:

Kevin Colis: Not bad. Agree that there is no real male singers this year.
West Springfield Dance Team: I kinda liked them. A little slow.
Matt Wilhelm: Needs to incorporate more into his act to make it to the end. One bike won't cut it.

Spot-on summary! The only act I voted for was Matt Wilhelm. Not exactly a talent-laden bunch of YouTube performers this year. In fact, I say Jackie Evancho's stool has more talent than the whole lot. Yikes!

Hell where are the people they had a few years ago? There are so many acts that lost in previous years that would be killing everyone that is in the competition.

Ditto! OMG! Who are these disaster acts...Keenan Cahill...OK GO (that's what I told 'em...Go Away!)...Chocolate Rain. 70 million hits for Chocolate Rain? Are people insane? More awful YouTube acts.

To bottom the evening's talentlesstivities, Rebecca Black (Friday girl) demonstrates once again that she cannot carry a tune. Simply ear grabbing horrible!

Okay, the "Hands" thing was actually pretty good and prevented me from driving my head into a wall of nails.

I felt bad for Black with all the "i'm being picked on" stuff... until I hear her without autotune and it was awful. I found myself cracking up at Piers reaction to her singing... I thought he may actually buzz someone. (I will say that every commercial I see for Whitney is just as painful though...)

Not sure how the Beth Anne (who bored the piss outta me) got picked over the West Springfield dance team.

There was not a performance tonight that I would even want to see on youtube let alone anywhere else.

The wild card show looks like it'll have potential (and no SamB)... glad to see they're giving the Kinetic King another chance (after that last trainwreck)
