I have an old analog panasonic c2000a receiver. I also have the
"down converter box" that goes with it. The receiver input is
950-1450 mhz. I assume that converter box mixes down lnbf
output to match receiver. Using WS International ESX242 lnbf.
Don't have the manual for receiver. Want to tune NTSC analog signals.
How do I tune receiver to analog tps? Dish is already pointed
at satellite using Fortec Star digital receiver.

Post a few pictures of that receiver. The box you have, 'downconverter box' was fed by a LNA. 3.7 to 4.2Ghz and downconverted to "L" band (950-1450) by it. That receiver MAY be directly connectable to the LNBF (LNAmplifier + LNBlock downconverter + feed horn) via a splitter or the Loop Out of the FTA box. Think I'd try with a DC Block @ loop out or a one port power pass with the panasonic on the power blocked port.
Blue items above are "=".
Must be a very early attempt to use "L" band as IF. All I know of used a seperate Block Downconverter was to a single channel(Transponder) centered at 70 Mhz.

Do you have a 6' or larger C-band dish?

What satellite are you pointed at? There's not many analog NTSC signals still up there.

Forgot about that, (DUH moment) Think there's only like 5 or 6 analogs left, and they are all on C band. (Big Dish)

Just noticed also 'first post'
