I am currently outside setting this Primestar/Stab100 up on the new post I sunk this week.
Quick question,
Should I use my magnetic angle locater to set the proper 40 degree lat on the motor (columbus, oh) before mounting the dish, or should I just stick with the measurements on the Stab100 itself? I currently have it at 40 on the motor, but the angle locater says its off by about 3 degrees when I stick it to the motor. Should that matter?
Thanks for quick replies fellas.

If you are sure the pole is level all round I would stick with the setting on the motor, keeping in mind you may have to change it later. But for the most part the scale on the motor can be trusted.

Thanks Pete, everyone.

Thank you Pete. As always, your advice is most professional. I am currently having the most success ever with this motor. I will post many pics soon of the complete installation, from post installation, to trenching, to NID placement and grounding.
Thanks again for everyone's help now, and in the past. This sure is awesome when it starts working properly!
