looks like a commercial satellite dish they are commonly seen at tv & maybe radio stations possibly some cable companies. don't know a name or brand.

You'll need a larger, more detailed picture for me to see anything that might help ID the dish.
Try getting lots of close ups of it from both the front and back. Sometimes you might find a tag of the maker of it on the back where the ides are bolted together. Thanks to all of you for your responses. The ad I responded to was for scrap materials on craigslist, and I am determined to give the BUD a new life. I asked the owner to dig out the receivers from storage, hoping they are Mot DSRs. My problem is my property is only 6000 square feet with 5 dishes already.
I have returned from my successful BUD extraction mission. After 4 hours of fun with rusty bolts eased with WD40, I was able to bring it home in a pickup truck. It is an 11 foot dish comprised of 24 segments of stamped sheet metal (non-ferric, light and stiff) held together with numerous nuts and bolts. It is made by Hastings Antenna of Hastings, NE. There is an early Chapparal co-rotor feedhorn with a Calif Amp LNB for C attached. The owner gave me the remotes for a Houston Tracker 4 and a Drake ESR240 receiver, but could not remember where the IRDs were.
I took numerous photos before disassembly, but the camera was not fully cooperative, so I'll attach what I was able to salvage.

That looks more like an LNA to me which would mean there's a block downconverter somewhere. Looks like it's hanging on the back of the dish. It's probably not been used in YEARS! You'll likely want to upgrade to a newer LNB but the feedhorn should be ok.
That's an interesting mount for the feedhorn, actually the whole thing is pretty interesting. I've never seen one like it. Looks very well built, if not overbuilt, but in this type of thing that's not a bad thing.
Does the actuator actually connect somewhere behind the dish? Looks like it from the pictures.

Yes, you're right the LNA with an uncommon RF interface connector feeds a Drake downconverter for a 70MHz IF feed to the receiver. The 2.5-yard long(extended) actuator used a ground anchor to move the dish.
It'll take a helluva well-set and concreted pole to hold that monster (looks like the one it was on is leaning) but that rig ought to be a great setup with some modern electronics, nice score! :up

nice find i just put up a free bee myself a 10 foot perfect 10 dish just had to buy a digital lnbf and a moteck postioner and a diamond 9000 hd now i am hunting for a 12 footer love this hobby

That brings me back to my first system, it had a Drake downconverter with 70Mhz IF output.......can't remember the model of receiver, it was a Drake too. Got hit by lightning so I was forced to upgrade. Good stuff in it's day. Still couldn't stand a direct lightning hit.
