I work for a small private cable operator. We're looking for a cost effective way to upgrade our HFC systems to offer HD. Does anyone know if VOOM is in the business of selling wholesale transport of HD content to small cable operators?

This would involve using headend gear to receive signal from Rainbow 1 and processing the transponders to deliver content via traditional QAM carrier over standard HFC cable plant.

welcome to the forum. I would think that you need to contact VOOM directly for this. I would not think that you can get your answer from the VOOM csrs. If I were you I would contact "Wilt Hildenbrand" wilth@optonline.net at VOOM. He is the contact to VOOM. He is an engineer but will be willing to let you speak with the correct person if such plan exists. Let us know what happens.
