Avatar 3D $130, Is that typical for 3D?

Last I looked Avatar $175.00 then a waiting-notification list.Imports for $20.

I purchased a Panasonic BDT210 player at Costco last week for $119 and that includes the disc. Can't imagine why anyone would be willing to pay more for just the disc.
