To all Directv Customers with Bangor, Maine Locals:

The following is what I was told by a couple of the Local Stations in Bangor, Maine:

Directv has determined that the issues with sound and video quality were due to faulty equipment. The equipment can not be fixed, so therefore needs to be replaced. They hope to have it replaced within the next couple of week, but things may change. We are truly sorry to our viewers for all the problems that this has caused and we wish that this was taken care of a while back, but the problems had nothing to do with us and we did our best to get Directv to fix this as quickly as possible.

I hope to find out more information about this soon and I will post it as soon as I receive it.

I hope something is done fast, it is hard to watch. Voice is off, at times picture goes blank.
 
Josh - I'm glad they finally figured out the problem, based on everything we discussed, with the market just launching, I figured it had to be something at the local receive facility.
