Its first HD broadcast on D* of Species the awakening was stellar. BSG however is so intentionally over grainy its hard to say.

'Battlestar's' Final Episodes to Begin Jan. 16
Sci Fi Channel has announced plans for the final episodes in the "Battlestar Galactica" series.
The show will return to Sci Fi for its last round of original episodes on Jan. 16. Ten new episodes in a row will be televised, culminating in the show's series finale on March 20.
