BBC World Channel 150

I Get my Shaw Direct through a broker, today BBCWorld ch.150 has a message that it is Parent Locked,
enter your Password to continue. I have never used a password so how do I go about getting it reset?

My location N.California, receiver is DSR605.

Follow up, BBC world is the only channel with is message.

my guess is to have your broker call shaw and have them send a reset signal to the box

Your broker should be able to access your acct info and send the re-hit using the SD website, in cases where the problem is not fixed, the broker may need to call SD.

Try pressing 0000 to unlock or go options/parental controls enter 0000 to see if it got locked by mistake

Thanks, I already tried that, but anyway the problem has resolved itself BBC World is back again, so I presume it
must have been a glitch somewhere. else.

Hi tay 243 Shaw already knows your rcvr ID. Just log in and go to the page that says "Refresh your receiver to restore missing channels and services." It says you can try it as much as 4x a day.

I dont know whether it would fix a problem like this; they say its for mising channels not locked ones but who knows it might work.
