The BEC DBS-1000 is a small receiver that is good for anyone not wanting blind search capabilites. It supports a H to H motor. It is small in its physical form and was not to hard to figure out how to program. I have used it for about 6 months now and it has stood up well.

Some issues that I have noticed with it are the following:

Sometimes with will lock up and need to be power cycled in order to recieive commands again.

Once in a while it will "reboot" itself on its own.

Lately it has put some white noise in my audio until it is power cycled.

Sometimes when switching satellites you have to go to an another channel on that particular satellite and then back to the channel you want to recieve a "lock" on the channel you want to watch.

Hopefully all of these problems can be fixed with future firmware upgrades.
