Target is also offering a $50 gift card (no guitar hero). Sony may not be lowering the price, but they are finding other ways to work with their major retailers to make it more interesting for people on the fence.

Still wont buy it until they lower the price, I dont want guitar hero nor feel the need to be a guitar hero or legend in the least. I do want the console but will either wait till the price drop comes or get one used from a starving college student or 20 something that cant hold a job and needs the money.

With BD player prices dipping so low, friend of mine said he won't buy at $299 like he said he would a couple months ago
