Now i am on Amc 5 what is the best sattellite on Ku Band for news feeds.

there are a variety of satellites that have news feeds
AMC5 (79W)
G28 (89W)
G17 (91W)
AMC1 (103W)*

AMC1 has a goofy skew. Its 25 degrees opposite what it should be. So if you have a fixed dish remember to skew properly. A motorized wont get as many since the skew will be off

Scan 91W at 4:55 pm Central time and you will see about 10 to 15 "talking heads" ready for the 5 pm newscast.

And I am fascinated by the town halls focused on health care reform. This is very rough stuff. I saw Sen. Spector almost nose to nose with shouters. Barney Frank went 3 hours yesterday battling the spector (pun intended) of Lyndon LaRouche and Nazi comments.

The longer feeds are regularly on 89W and 99W.
