Actually both...

I had planned on cutting back this year anyway. Warner's switch cemented in my mind the idea to cancel HBO after "The Wire" ends. I'll drop Cinemax, too.

I just canceled my National Geographic subscription today in response to their decision.

Yeah, it was a bitter fanboy thing, but it saves me money.
 
I have all the premium channels...I don't care much about HBO anymore since the Sopranos ended..
I still enjoy watching The Wire...
 
If you have Dish Network.....the 1 cent for Cinemax for 2 years is setting you back so much.

Entourage is reason enough to have HBO.

PLEASE LOG IN TO GET RID OF THESE ADS!
 
Bill Mahr and Big Love over here in blue-state Cali. Though if HBO wasn't thrown in free with my Super HD Combo with the cable co., I might stick with online rentals.
