Why is dish running blackout restrictions apply scroll across the screen on ESPN!!! I want to watch the game not some huge sentence saying to check dishnetwork.com/wheresmygame. This is dumb!!

Why is dish running blackout restrictions apply scroll across the screen on ESPN!!! I want to watch the game not some huge sentence saying to check dishnetwork.com/wheresmygame. This is dumb!!

Because they want to stop the 50 million phone calls they will receive from viewers in the home territories of the game that are blacked out by local station mandates. The blackout banner lasts 1/2 hour and then goes away.

can they make it any larger? Seriously, does it have to scroll across the middle of the screen?
