In a past setup I had a 1000.2 with a 500 wing for 129 to get more SS because I did not have LOS on 61.5.

I just had the 61.5 wing added for my locals. I covered the 129 lnb and ran a check switch, I now show 100, 119 and the in(61.5) on the 1000.2 with 129 removed. Can I leave the setup like this from here on out without issue and get all my hd off 61.5 only.

Thanks.

Thanks!

Another question:

Im only getting 37-39 off TP 19 (disc/tlc) and 66-68 off tp 15 (locals) near richmond va. Are these about normal because its the best I can get. The guy who did the install used a Y adapter on the 500 instead of an I.

With the I-Adapter and a slight repeak afterwards it would go a little higher.

Thanks, I compared 129 vs 61.5 on the same hd channels I watch a lot. 129 was a good bit higher even after I peaked the 61.5 with the Y, so I tried peaking the 1000.4 and was able to add about 10pts to my 129 signals. Ill stick with it and just use 61.5 for locals.

What im getting on 129 with the 1000 is much better than I could do in South Carolina. I actually added a D500 just for 129 to help out.

Id love to set up something one day with a d500 on each sat :)
