It's for the Original Trilogy only . I'm sure you know that but I'm just saying. I'm willing to bet that this won't sell well. I've seen it in HD over the years on Television and the difference between sd and hd is is not as much as I expected. I waited for Back to the Future to drop and it did. I expect the complete series to drop before the end of the year to $40.

I know. I have absolutely no interest in the fake trilogy, only the original. This is a significant upgrade for me as my existing copies are on laserdisc. I try not to buy this stuff every time a 'better' one comes out. Still, I won't toss the laserdiscs as they are the original cut (No Jabba, and Hans shoots first) I should probably wait a year until the unbutchered cut comes out on BluRay, but I'm starting to get impatient.

The 3d version is coming to the theaters but according to what I've read if the first one doesn't do well they won't release another one. The first one will be the Phantom Menace.

I'll end up with them, but right now I have them all archived to a EHDD in OAR and HD and rarely watch via media player... (from the old 148 HBO 1920x1080i feed from Dish)
