Both LG and Samsung to show 105" curved UHD sets 21:9

Both are doing 105 inch TVs. They are using 21:9 aspect ratio for 11 million pixels 5120x2160.

I bet they will be pretty nice to watch widescreen movies on. I wonder if they are planning on 5120x2160 sources or are they just going to scale up?

I'll be honest. I'll be more interested in how uhd tv will get 4k content this year at CES and not the tv itself.

That being said, I wouldn't mind having either of these.

I don't have an interest in this. Certainly not practical for a living room with multiple viewing positions. There'd be one sweet spot and then where everyone else sits.

I have to agree, I do not see any need to have a curved screen at household sizes. I think it is just a thing of being curved is something new for marketing to talk about.
