Broadband, advantage

722k now offers dish on demand - literally hundreds of shows. broadband access required to stream it to your receiver. im suprised nobody has mentioned it.

Correct. Not a myth. You can hook your broadband connection up to your ViP-series receiver instead of using your phone line. The only disadvantages are no on-screen caller ID, and you cannot view/pay your bill on your receiver. Other than that, it does everything else it can do with a phone line connected.
