Broadcast Networks Programming Discussion Thread

Okay, I just gotta give Marty McFly a try (even though I know its gonna suck) just because it's Fox on NBC. ;)

I don't actually read the reviews before I watch shows because they give away the whole plot of the episode. I have been checking out a few of IGN's reviews and scrolling right to the bottom to see the score though. I still watch the shows I have interest in either way but with so many brand new shows it doesn't hurt to peak at some review scores and skip over some of the ones that are truly awful.

Anyways, take it with a grain of salt but IGN gave this show a 7.7 which is in the good range on their scale. This is higher than the majority of reviews they have given out for brand new shows this year.

Edit: it also has a 71% fresh rating on rotten tomatoes which is very good compared to its competition.

Edit 2: I have already given my reasons in the thread dedicated to this show so I won't go in to them again. I am looking forward to the show though and I'm glad to hear that the reviews are positive.

Still catching up on the DVR... Dexter, Sons, Ray Donovan complete, a bit more to go.... 3 weeks away is a killer, especially for season finales.
