Hello Satelliteguys,

I am currently realigning a C-Band antenna with dual LNBs. I have the antenna pointed to the "right" direction acording to my phone but have yet to connect to the Satellite. Slight movements with azimuth
s and elevation make slight to the changes dbm readings but nothing seems to connect. I am using an Applied Instruments XR3 with Turbo S2 Module. Is there something Im missing or not doing correctly?

It would be nice to know which sat. you're trying to snag a signal from. And transponder.
Az/el. So it will be stationary aimed at one sat?
Realigning a dish that hasn't moved? What knocked it out of whack?
LNB's? Orthomode transducer feed? Have they been moved at all?
How are they powered? Using a multiswitch? Getting voltage at the coax leading into them?
Need more detailed info.

The alignment is occurring because the antenna was pointed at Galaxy 33 at 133 W instead of SES 1 at 101 W.
Attempting to connect to SES 1, Transponder 16, 4020H.
The LNBs currently used are NORSAT 3020s
For alignment, I use the XR3 directly to the LNB, which powers the LNB.

AZ = 153.4 (MAG)
EL = 35.4

Were you doing this work today? I ask because at your area there were seasonal solar outages around midday up until Monday this week.
I first attempted to realign this antenna last Friday 10/10 then again on Monday 10/13 and today. I normally work on the system from 1100 to 1500 (3pm) local time.
