C Band question

Ok.. I think I already know the answer but do any of you think or have tried using a C/KU LNBF on a Primestar 75e dish and successfully picked anything up C band? I am not certain of the power output of AMC10 but I am looking to only add NWCN to my already outstanding channel lineup.

I have gotten one to work with a 1m P*. But it didn't pick up much on C and I had to re-adjust between the C and ku. I could not get them to work in the same position at the same time?


Edit, Edit, Edit.... forget the above, I'm not thinking straight. It was not a 1m P* I tried it on, it was a 1.2m GeosatPro dish.

I was going to try it on the 1mP*, but never got around to it. Sorry for any confusion!

I think I might not even waste my time trying. I am thinking about getting a 6' dish.. just gotta save the duckies and purchase it.. then tell the wife. hehe

That's too funny! I have hair but its all going grey so wouldn't be a great loss... Plus saving all that money on haircuts... well worth it.
