Today, I finally got onto the DISH website to access my account, and was rudely awakened to learn that my CC Autopay apparently was cancelled last December (found this out from CSR). I had the Platinum Pack, with one additional dvr fee, was paying $110.99/month. I have had HD service since last Spring, and reluctantly gave up my beloved 942 for the 622 in anticipation of the coming MPEG-4 shift. So imagine my further surprise when asked if I would like to "upgrade" to HD? I informed her I have two 622's, and that DISH changed out my antenna for the 129 satellite. Here is the breakdown of charges shown on the website:
Previous Balance

New Monthly Charge(s) 02/20 to 03/19
ADDL RECEIVER ACCESS FEE 6.00

This, of course, did not include the then-unpaid January bill, so I had a $232 charge pending. Had the usual, great conversation with a CSR in India, with a yuppie American name (just find that so "cute"). Asked about DISH Advantage, was told, if I get the equivalent to what I had with Platinum Pack, the DISH Advantage does not give any more discount. So, this is what I now have:
Top 250: $89.99
HD: 20.00
Locals 5.00
Add'l dvr 6.00
Total $120.99
Guess I can live with that, not happy, but for the price, a good package.
