Can I have 5 locations with dp technology?

I need to know if it's possible to receive programming from 5 different satellites with the available dp technology. I want: 61.5/105/110/119/129. The only I figure it be possible is if I feed 110/119 on 2 dp duals into a dp21 and then feed that into 1 port on the dpp44 and then just feed the other 3 into the switch individually. I don't have all that hardware so I want to know if anyone has tried it.

You are close, but to make it work, you need to connect 4 of the satellites to the DPP44, then feed each output to a DP21 to combine with the 5th satellite. This means you will need a DP21 for each receiver you have.

Be sure you connect the power supply for the DPP44 between the DPP44 and the input of the DP21 (not on the receiver side of the DP21) or you will fry the DP21.

I'm going to try to make a 61.5/110/119/121/129 system for use in Richmond, Virginia. I'll make the 61.5 satellite the one that gets combined through the DP21 because I doubt that anyone there will need it.

With the DP21 in the circuit, will that preclude agile stacking by the DPP44?

Is there a big sucker antenna that will target 110-129? That's only 19 degrees.

I have a stacked FSS LNB for 121. Is 129 linear or circular?

So I take it the same holds true for a 110/119/129, 61.5 148 configuration.

FWIW, I remember that, way back when, there was some problem getting some DISH receivers to recognize an SW64 arrangement that included both 61.5 and 148. I think it was a software limitation.

Yep you can purchase a Wave Frontier that will hit the 101-129 birds like you need. Check out our site sponsor Sadoun and look up their FTA dishes.

Wave Frotier is a Torridial dish. It uses reversed LNB's, and there are no reversed Dishpro LNB's, so it won't work.

I wound up buying this dish MS-E85 5-lnb dish that allowed me to get 82 to 119 easily.showthread.php?t=77428

Yes it will. So to be more precise, you will need a DP21 for each tuner, not just each receiver. The dual tuner receivers will require 2 since each input must have the same switch configuration.

129 is DBS so it's circular.

The software has been updated to automatically hide one of the duplicated channel numbers. There is no legacy 5-sat solution, the max is 4 with the SW64/SW21 cascade in those receivers that support it.

Yes, it would work for that also. Question is why do you need 61.5 and 148, they would be the same. Are your locals are on 148, and you want sky angel on 61.5 ?? Otherwise you wont be getting any more channels having both.

Where is a good place to get a stacked fss lnb from?

Sure, a 121 SD works fine. Thats What I'm using. Just put a 129 outboard lnb on it.

Can a 6000 take 4 or 5 Satellite Positions

Note that a stacked (950-1450, 1550-2050MHz) LNB is NOT the same thing as DishPro (950-1450, 1650-2150MHz).

Mine says, "DISH Network FSS Stacked LNB P/N 122677 Lot #P45

I haven't yet tested it yet.

New HD Channels?

Getting 119 and 129 instead of 119 and 110
