Can't get this box to work

I have Comcast. The manual that comes with Sky Angel is ambiguous. I have a dvd player/theather system connected to a plasma. I am using Comcasts cable modem and no router. I made the connections per Sky Angels directions using every option for video/audio connection to no avail.

I get the power light, a blinking second light(have no idea what it is, connection maybe), and no 3rd light on the front panel.

This is my connection:

cat 5 from modem to stb
component green, blue, red from stb to tv
audio to appropriate places


Nothing happens went I press the power on the remote(have changed batteries)

Help!

Call Sky Angel tech -- they will help you figure it all out.

Check the inputs?

Any update? Have you called tech support and what did they tell you?

If you haven't called already, try using your yellow video cable (not component cables) to get video into your TV. Then see if you get a picture. Obviously, make sure that your TV is set to the correct input... I know it's a simple step, but it's easy to overlook sometimes.
