CBS cancels late show effective May 2026

"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" to end in May 2026

CBS will end "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and retire "The Late Show" franchise in May 2026, the company announced Thursday.

#1 late night show canceled, during the pandemic I watched the late shows the next day, haven't regularly watched since Leno left...

I have not watched them either, in a long long time. When I go to bed I want something to fall asleep to, not watch shows that are supposed to be all comedy now just one political comment after another. That stuff don't help me sleep it makes my blood boil and keeps me up.

In addition to that most of these "Celebrities" they have on now, I have no idea who they are. So not as fun to watch.

Carson was a master at keeping it light.

I still prefer to just watch reruns of Carson on AntennaTV if I'm up late.
