Channel 8099?

Has anyone noticed a channel 8099?
It said something about CRID and then it started to reload guide data.
I then messed up my receiver. It made it say it was jan, 1 1980.
I use a hughes receiver.
Please help me figure out what this is!

Im new to DirecTV myself, but have you tried re-setting the receiver? This is done but unpluging the receiver from the power source and keep it like that for around 30 seconds.

No this is not an error is some kind of directv programming channel. I can get it by setting a timer. When you put in ch. 999 it points me to 8099 and describes it as vc 8099 crid test.
