Commitment

Quick question for someone. I recently got DirecTV installed a week or so ago. I was playing around with my DirecTV.com account tonight and under my services one of the services states: "No Annual Commitment" What exactly does that mean? It was my understanding I was under a two year contract with them for the free DVR's they sent.

Mine says nothing, I know I have a 2 year agreement when I upgraded to HD. Does it normally state what your committment is or when it expires online/
