Here is the jest of my problem I have 3 Standar receivers 1 in the living room and 1 in each of the bedrooms. The ones in the bedrooms work just fine but the one in the living room keeps losing the signal to several channels but not all of them.

I did a dish set up and it keeps saying Satellite C ( 110 degrees ) failed and to fix the problem before I continue.

What the heck does this mean and if that's the case shouldn't it affect all 3 receivers and not just 1 of them ?

Oh by the way it's not the receiver as I switched out boxes from one of the bedrooms and the box that was in the living room works just fine in the bedroom where as the one that worked in the bedroom still doesn't work in the living room.

Check for nicks and loose connections in the line going to the problem rec.
Are all three rec's the same models ?

To be honest I have not a clue I'm brainless about this kind of stuff. I do know that the 2 upstairs boxes run off of one line and then there is a seperate one that runs to the living room so there are 2 lines running from the dish if that makes sense.

yeah all the same model.

I guess I'll end up calling them out since I haven't the slightest clue about anything wiring I thought maybe it might be a simple fix or something. lol

Actually, all three have thier own line .... otherwise you have issues from time to time with the LNB not knowing what channel to select because the two different rec's are trying to get a possible channel on different voltages from the LNB.

If you have the Protection plan, now is a good time to use it. :)
