Done some searching on site, but could not find any info. I was wondering if the condition of the plastic cover on the LNB will affect signal. When LNB was new, cover was clear, but over time it has turned almost a solid white color. I have noticed a signal drop, tweaked the dish and checked all cables and connections, but did not help. Any ideas if the LNB cover should be replaced? Thanks for any input.

as long as it wasnt painted you should be OK

I have an old Bell ExpressVu (when they were linear) LNB that has a white cover and it works fine

can you take a pic of the LNB?

afreed....I have a Sadoun dual that has been in service for 4 years now with no issues.

I'm in MN so it can get cold here (you say north of the 49th so you're in the same boat)
