Contract question

My secretary signed up for D* about 5 months ago. Of course, because she's a new subscriber she was locked into a 24 month contract. She is moving at the end of the month, and her new apartment doesn't have a line of sight- her unit doesn't have a SW facing opening. Is there any way for her to get out of the remaining 19 months on her contract since service isn't available?
 
Sometimes not having a line of sight after moving will get you out of a contract, but it's not the norm. She can call and ask!
 
I read on the net that what you have to do is have Direct come out and try to install at the new location. When the installer says that they can't install because of satellite viewing issues (no south facing sky, No LOS) and gives that info to Direct. Direct has to terminate the agreement and the contract, it's in their terms of agreement. Tell her to set up the move & install and go from there.
