Is there any hope that NPS will offer other channels such as
Denver Chicago etc
in addition to the San Francisco and Atlanta channels?

and is any effort being made to enchance the quality of the
picture from NPS Thanks

sicne NPS only has one transponder, the most they can do is 12 SD channels. I highly doubt they'd add more

In regard to your question about picture quality, here is a letter reply to a member of this forum from Mike Mountford the CEO of NPS. about 2½ weeks ago.


Mitch, We are tweaking things all the time and I am sure you have seen improvement over the month. The major hurdle is to get the network feeds via fiber versus the roof top antennas we are currently using. This is in process, but we have been quoted 90 days in normal times, toss in the Holidays and that will probably be a little longer, but it will get done. At that point the picture quality should be the best possible without High Definition. HD is in our plans but we do not have a time line on that yet. MM

More distant cities is a possibility, it would take money and more transponder leasing. Not out of the question. After all, Charlie is not allowed to sell distant networks but NPS is. Distant networks carried on Charlies satellites can only mean more interest in Dish Network receivers. Win, win, win, as I see it.
Better throw in a lose there. I forgot about the NAB.
